Assistive Technologies Make the GradeKristin Mulrooney, Assistant Professor of Linguistics at Gallaudet University, made a keen observation one recent semester – students with access to class lecture recordings seemed to fair better in a course than students without access to class lecture recordings. Dr. Mulrooney taught the same linguistics class in two different classrooms. One classroom was equipped to record lectures using Echo360, and the other was not. After an informal study, Dr. Mulrooney noticed that the average grade of students in the class with lecture capture was a full grade higher than the students in the other classroom.
