Description: With 2009 behind us, this session will give the UK and European users a look into the organizational and operational changes that Echo360 has made to better service its UK and European clients. Topics will include Echo360’s 2010 business and product plans, UK-specific staffing plans and technical support changes, and an overview to hardware manufacturing improvements relevant to the UK market.

Description: This session will give the community an overview of Echo360's new release planning strategy and customer-driven release programs. The discussion will then shift to upcoming product releases, including EchoSystem version 2.6 (ready in time for summer installations), and long-term planning for EchoSystem releases beyond 2.6.
An Open Solution: Using EchoSystem APIs to Extend Capture Workflows

Description: This session will give the community an overview of EchoSystem open APIs, highlighting San Francisco State University’s community- driven Moodle integration. The discussion will continue with focus on the importance of Echo360’s commitment to openness in the implementation of lecture capture. The session will conclude with an introduction to the LectureCapture.com developer’s forum.
Product Tour: Understanding Workflows to “Capture Everywhere”

Description: Capture requirements vary from university lecture theatres, to classrooms, seminar rooms, and even on individual instructor laptops. As the diversity of capture matures, the EchoSystem grows to meet these needs. This session will provide an overview to Echo360 capture options. Topics include personal capture, ad hoc workflows and venue-based solutions, and will highlight common customer use cases.
Taking Lecture Capture to the Next Level:
Planning for a Successful Large-Scale Deployment of the EchoSystem

Description: As more and more institutions move to 20+ installed classrooms of the EchoSystem, lecture capture becomes a mission-critical application for the students and lecturers who rely on it. With rising expectations, planning for scale is an important next step in evolving and growing EchoSystem installments. This session, intended for EchoSystem system administrators and information technology teams, will offer an overview to the technical features and operational best practices to help the EchoSystem perform in a high availability environment.
Policies and Best Practices Surrounding Content Retention and Storage

Description: As lecture capture volume increases within the university, it is important to develop and implement content retention and backup policies to maximize storage investment. This session will cover the strategies for managing lecture recordings, including archival and back up policies, and content management techniques.
